Financial Assistance

The Caribbean Infinity Institute believes that students and their families have the primary responsibility for educational costs. However, we realize that many families are unable to immediately fund the entire cost of education. To that end, the Institute is willing to assist by structuring payment options to alleviate the burden of meeting Tuition Obligations. Students who have problems meeting their financial obligations to the institution should make this concern known to the Principal or Designated official in writing so that alternative arrangements can be made. Financial assistance is based on a case by case assessment.

Private Loans

Various lending institutions offer loans to help cover the gap between the costs of education. A co-signer may be required to meet the program’s credit criteria. The Institution cannot be held responsible for the Student’s financial obligation to creditors.

Employer Reimbursement

Many employers have programs that reimburse students for educational costs. Students should contact the personnel office at their place of employment to determine if such funding is available for attendance at the School.

Refund Policy

Students are responsible for making suitable arrangements to pay for tuition and fees incurred as a result of their enrollment at the Institute. In the event that a student withdraws or is dismissed from all classes during the duration of the course, refunds of tuition and fees are calculated according to the schedule below. Refunds are not given for books/supplies that have already been issued. Refunds will be made within 30 calendar days of the student’s determined date of withdrawal.

Last Day of Attendance

The last day of attendance for refund computation purposes is the last date of actual physical attendance by a student in classes. The determined date of withdrawal is the date the School made a determination that a student had withdrawn but no later than seven class days after the last date of actual attendance or the day of the expiration of a leave of absence. All refunds due to or for a student will be refunded within 30 days of the determined date of withdrawal. Refunds due are based on monies actually paid.

Cancellation

A full refund of all monies paid will be made to or on behalf of the applicant if the applicant requests cancellation within three business days after signing the Enrollment Agreement.

Tuition Refund Policy

For an applicant who does not request cancellation within the cancellation periods described above, the calculation of refund of tuition with the exception of the application fee, which is non refundable, will be made in accordance with the following policy:

  1. If the student withdraws or is terminated by the school through the first 5% of the academic year, 95% of the tuition for the academic year will be refunded. An administrative fee of $150 will be added to the amount retained by the Institute.
  2. If the student withdraws or is terminated by the school after completing 5% of the academic year up to and including 10% of the academic year, 90% of the tuition for the academic year will be refunded. An administrative fee of $150 will be added to the amount retained by the Institute.
  3. If the student withdraws or is terminated by the school after completing 10% of the academic year up to and including 25% of the academic year, 75% of the tuition for the academic year will be refunded. An administrative fee of $150 will be added to the amount retained by the Institute.
  4. If the student withdraws or is terminated by the school after completing 25% of the academic year up to and including 50% of the academic year, 50% of the tuition will be refunded. An administrative fee of $150 will be added to the amount retained by the Institute.
  5. If the student withdraws or is terminated by the school after completing 50% of the academic year, the student is obligated for 100% of the tuition for the academic year.
  6. In the case of student injury or prolonged illness or death in the family or other circumstances that make it impractical to complete a program, the school may make a settlement that is reasonable and fair to the student and the School. The School will propose a settlement within 30 days of receipt of written notice of the situation.

After the last day of the drop/withdraw period for the course as stated in academic calendar, no refunds or adjustments will be made to students dropping individual courses but otherwise enrolled at the Institute.
